OK, fine. Enjoy your lovely weather. We’ll have that someday…I think. I’m realizing that watching two feet of snow fall on peaceful city streets from inside one’s cozy flat is a LOT nicer than trying to get to the grocery store and climbing over four foot snowdrifts on every street corner the day after. 🙂
ENVY. We have piles of snow outside the window, and they don’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon…
I was just down in your neck of the woods a day or so ago. Heather & hellebores & snowdrops in bloom, with pansies out in people’s planters; catkins on the trees, and that undeniable breath of spring on the air. Enjoy!
Back home to a foot of snow, but there is a decided warmth to that sun, and the chickadees are calling “Spring’s here!” It’s on its way. 🙂
Wow how pretty! Yesterday it was pouring rain and dank in Dorset, but will hold on to the thoughts of spring your post has inspired!
Oh Claire, push that Spring zephyr out my way! We were hit with a snowstorm last Friday and we’re drowning in snow. I’m hoping that the bulbs will be popping up soon though. Enjoy your wonderful weather!
I wish we had spring where I live, but not yet. And when it does come, is usually heralded by heavy rains and mud- no flowers for a good while!
I want to live where you do! It will be a good two months before I see anything in the garden. 😦
Wow. Enjoy it – we’ll always take you back when you come in from outside. 🙂
Lucky you! Wish it were springtime here but I think we have at least another month to wait, and longer if we have a recurrence of the snow.
Send some my way because February has been one big Blizzard here in Boston. Good reading whether though.
