Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
I am off travelling again (now in Europe) and enjoying one of the great perks of my Auckland library membership: access to digital audiobooks of my favourite Lucy Parker novels. Great for long train rides and for getting extra excited about her new release, Codename Charming, which is coming out in August!
What did you pick up this week?
Never heard of Lucy Parker, thank you!
Morning,Claire.I live in Blockhouse Bay!And homebound so about to be paired up with a volunteer to bring and take my library books. Not sure what’s in new stash but last lot concentrated on baking recipes, science fiction anthologies and finished a novel…Someone Like Her.A rather false influencer brings revenge upon herself for deadly advice she gave to a new mum.
I am looking forward to Parker’s new book in August, Codename Charming, although I see that being published by a mainstream publisher means it is $16.99 instead of $9 or $10.
