As much as the decorative items spelling out ‘nest’ pain me, this dining room earns points for having both a bookshelf and amazing sliding doors that open to the outdoors. And I love the overall modern feel of the space.

Haha, yes, it makes you wonder if there is some in-home conflict over decorating. I love a dining room / library combo. We had that in my childhood home – nothing fancy, it wouldn’t have made one of your posts even if I had a picture, but it did just kind of say “nice things belong in here”.
