After seven months of working from home and goodness knows how many more to go, I REALLY wish my workspace looks like this. But then again perhaps the books would be too distracting…who could work when you have all of those vying for your attention?

It’s like working in the middle of the playground! I like it!
I already sort of have that experience: there are two elementary schools directly across the street from my home and since they are now outside almost all the time, it’s like being part of recess throughout the work day. “My children” are a running joke on every conference call I attend.
I think having most of the books above eye-level of the desk would be less distracting, for me. And those on a lower level are at least set back from the desk area. I really like the natural light to the right.
