I love the gray-blue paint, reminds me of Persephone dove grey. But that fireplace is a little jarring — I suppose they blocked it up to keep from drafts and save on heating costs, but I’m not sure how I like it. I guess I’d have to lounge on the sofa with one of the books and try it out!
Hi Claire!
How are you, my fellow Canadian in isolation? Isn’t it eerie out there?
I’m off for two more weeks but won’t be surprised if that time frame is extended. We’re be the giddiest lot of library employees once we’re all back at work….I miss everyone so much and it’s only been a week!
Take care!
It’s so good to hear from you, Darlene! Our libraries closed down on Monday so I expect everyone out here is feeling much like you. My office switched pretty easily to remote work so I’ve been at home this week enjoying a window view I don’t have at my usual office. The weather in Vancouver has been perfect all week and that has helped a lot. The cherry trees are bursting into blossom, which always makes everything feel a little more hopeful. The best thing has been the reduced air traffic – suddenly the blue skies are really blue, and not disturbed by criss-crossing jet streams!
