Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Two weeks from now I’ll be on holiday in France. Logic tells us therefore that I have checked far too many books out from the library. Again. But logic has no place in my library visits.
Will I read all of these before I go? No. But I’ll have fun trying.
What did you pick up this week?
Mad Enchantment, Monet’s Passion, and Almost French are lovely books which will get you in the mood for France. I have enjoyed all three. I hope you can visit Giverney to see Monet’s passion in person. I’ll be France just before you are and hope you have a fantastic trip!
I’m spending the first two nights of the trip in Giverny and am so eager to see the gardens!
I definitely see a theme there 🙂 Will you be packing books, or traveling with an e-reader (or both) ?
I’ll be bringing my ereader. It’s a blessing for travel!
French themed!! Enjoy the holiday. I’d take a book or two myself.
There should be lots of time for reading, at least during the first part of this holiday, so I’m looking forward to that. May has been chaotic for me and I’ve only finished one book so far!
It’s always fun seeing your loot and all these books I’ve not heard of!
Excellent!
I love reading books about the country I am visiting! It gets you in the mood before and really enhances the holiday. Hope you have a lovely time!
I enjoyed The Last Palace. Here’s a link to my review:
