Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Linda from Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Vacation time! And for me, that means two weeks in Europe with a heavily loaded e-reader. I’ve got lots of choices this year to keep me busy when I’m not off hiking or sightseeing.
Women Talking by Miriam Toews
The Railway Children by E. Nesbit
Save the Date by Morgan Matson
Machine Without Horses by Helen Humphreys
The Late Bloomers’ Club by Louise Miller
Friends and Lovers by Helen MacInnes
Don’t Make Me Pull Over! by Richard Ratay
The Riddle of the Sands by Erskine Childers
Footsteps in the Dark by Georgette Heyer
What did you pick up this week?
This post contains affiliate links from Book Depository, an online book retailer with free international shipping. If you buy via these links it means I receive a small commission (at no extra cost to you).
Are the covers shown those from the editions you have? I remember Penguin Popular Classics having rather sandpaper-like pages, often with very small text. I suppose one gets what one pays for. Have a safe and happy journey.
Not all the covers are identical – I had some trouble finding the ebook covers that matched what I had borrowed (the E. Nesbit included).
What a fabulous selection! Now I want to read them all, too. Will you be posting reviews, I hope?
I’ll (hopefully) be posting some reviews, but won’t be talking about all of them.
