Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Linda from Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
In August I leave for not one, not two, but three months in Europe! I’m not thinking about much else right now and my book choice certainly reflects how I’m spending my time (and gives a good idea of where I’m going)!
What did you pick up this week?
Just think of all those lovely libraries you will visit. I went back to my home town in the U.K. And discovered that the library I first borrowed from was built for the town by Andrew Carnegie. It hasn’t changed much except for having its funding cut by a government that believes libraries loan be run by volunteers.
Have a lovely journey.
Yay for you!
Three cheers!!
How fantastic hope you have a wonderful time! ☺
I do hope you blog a bit about your travels. Three months sounds like heaven. Happy travels and Happy book exploring.
Thanks! I have a separate travel blog (The Ambling Adventurer) where I’ll be posting updates on my travels.
I have subscribed and look forward to your happy travels. Thanks so much for sharing.
I’m laid up with a broken wrist –right hand, of course. And a scrapped knee. Got lots of reading since I can’t do much else. A Man Called Ove and rereading the Divergent series.
Enjoy!
