Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Linda from Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
What did you pick up this week?
I picked up The Summer House Party by Caro Fraser and The Empathy Problem – a novel not self-help – by Gavin Extence. I already had a couple on loan: Devotion by Louisa Young, almost finished, and The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain.
Of your picks, I really like the title ‘Give War and Peace a Chance’. I hope the contents are equally impressive.
nice finds! After the War is Over is the one that attracted my attention first 🙂
So very nice especially the three Robson books.
Wow. Great loot. Enjoy!
Penelope Stokes: The Amethyst Heart, which is a easy going historical read.
Excellent! Great selection!!
If you look at the cover of Judith Lennox’s book One Last Dance it has the same model in a blue dress, only in a slightly different pose, no doubt altered on a computer … handbag on one photo, missing on another.
But a good selection of books here!
