I enjoy your blog and I would love to show you my new book as I think it’s a good fit with your blog and because Vancouver is featured in it. Footnotes from the World’s Greatest Bookstores is a collection of 75 paintings of bookstores and their most memorable moments, stories from many of the great thinkers of our day. It comes out in the fall of this year and it’s published by Penguin Random House. I recently came back from London where I visited a dozen bookstores for future projects to help promote and raise awareness of the importance of independent bookstores. I’d be interested in being reviewed (it’s a short read) or interviewed or whatever.
I am a cartoonist and writer for the New Yorker and the New York Times and my work also appears in The Spectator, Prospect magazine, The Oldie and Private Eye over there. I am also the world’s leading snowman expert and author of the popular History of the Snowman.
Thank you very much for your time and I hope to hear back from you.
Oh, yes . . . there I am. Just outside of view, on the yellow chair, probably reading “Little Women”, again.
I really like the painting on this post.
