Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Linda from Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Just one item for me this week: the audiobook of Elizabeth Peters’ delightful The Last Camel Died at Noon.
What did you pick up this week?
I am traveling so I couldn’t bring a library book but I am reading one from the library book sale which I work on, Corridors of Power by CP Snow. Without the quarterly book sales of donated books the library would very few new books indeed.
Library book sales are wonderful! Enjoy your travels.
YES! I love ‘The Last Camel Died at Noon’! I hope the audiobook lives up to expectations for you. 🙂
The audiobook was pretty dire, as it turned out. Still a hilarious story but Susan O’Malley is not the right reader (Amelia & co chatting in American accents is very difficult to take).
Enjoy!
Thanks!
Just linked up for the first time. Thank’s for hosting.
Welcome!
