A beautiful room, indeed. Right now, I am imagining sitting in one of the red wing back chairs, a new read in my hands.

A very happy new year to you, Claire! Not looked in for a while, so playing catch up with a few of your posts!
Love this room – it’s what I call “my colours” and although our sitting room not as grand as this, the colours are much the same – chalky off-yellow walls, terracotta sofa, Oriental rug in front of the fireplace, framed pictures on the walls, and loads of bookshelves, and always flowers. This is a truly lovely room I could easily inhabit, spring, summer, autumn, or winter.

Love that primrose wall! Could definitely live in that beautiful room.
