The walls match the chair, people. What kind of madness is this? Actually, I think I’d quite like it if the rest of the furniture wasn’t quite so dark.

and if they’d done some “mixing-up” of the books…all dark on one side.. light on the other 😦
It’s the sort of madness I could well inhabit…as long as there was natural light from windows…the red scarf casually tossed over the white lampshade adds a bit of seductive mystery to the mix. Excepting the ’empurpled’ chair, I like it. 🙂
Is that what is called shabby chic! I think I like it. The lampshades bother me though!
This looks a bit like a room in one of those ‘before’ and ‘after’ makeovers, only there isn’t an ‘after’, sadly!
How dark and depressing it is!
How I do dislike sofas which are brown, upholstered in either fabric of (worse) leather. They make me think a herd of cows has entered one’s living space and being used as furniture.
And is that a scarf hanging over one of the lampshades? Surely, a potential fire hazard?

In my response, I meant … in either fabric OR (worse) leather.
