Not for me! Too formal, nowhere comfortable to sit (or lie), and I hate the colour of the shelves. Don’t like the chairs, either. Oh well.

oh my … the walls of our dining room in Canada (aside from the window / sideboard wall) were lined with bookcases … dinner parties often ended with people reading books plucked from the nearest shelf ..
