It’s that time of year when everyone with a cabin/cottage is beginning to disappear from the city every weekend, lured to the country by warm weather and the promise of outdoor activities. However, if I had a room like this in my cabin, I’d be just as happy on a rainy day as a sunny one!

Now this is a room in which I could disappear for days! A beautiful window, couch, nice armchair, accessible books, wooden furniture, everything plain but beautiful. I wouldn’t change a thing, but would sit on the couch reading and drinking tea and eating snacks to my heart’s content.

I could definitely be stranded here for a while. I love how the couch perfectly fits in the niche.

Oh, I’d like a reading light in the alcove for after sunset.

I love this! Oodles of books, comfy chair, pointed ceiling, lots of greenery outside the window. It’s gorgeously cosy and welcoming.
