Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Linda from Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Gifted and Talented by Wendy Holden – absolute fluff but very fun.
The Evening Chorus by Helen Humphreys – Humphreys’ newest.
The Other Side of the Story by Marian Keyes – 2015 appears to be my year for rereading Keyes. This is the fifth of her books that I’ve picked up this year.
What did you pick up this week?
These look great! I need some fluff.
Enjoy your books!
Evening Chorus sounds good.
Sometimes you need fluff and fun.
Oooh….I spent this afternoon in Toronto listening to Helen Humphreys read from The Evening Chorus, Claire. She is wonderful and the book is stunning….read it!!! I’ll be posting a review in a few days.
Did you read the abridged or unabridged version? I didn’t notice any mention of the plot lines and entire chapters removed in the US edition. As far as I know, only the Collins and Ulverscroft large print editions are complete. The Rinehart/US edition has fewer chapters and at least on major plot line removed. If Sourcebooks or someone ever reissue this, I certainly hope they use the unabridged version as their template.
