Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Linda from Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki

How To Be A Heroine by Samantha Ellis

What did you pick up this week?
These all look so good! I have How To be a Heroine on my shelf. Enjoy your loot!
My Australian friend who has lived and worked in the UK for 20+ years recommended ‘Love, Nina’, which I subsequently read, but I didn’t know any of the people she wrote about it except for Alan Bennett, so I don’t think I appreciated the story as much. However I have just read her (new) novel ‘Man at the Helm’ and loved it. I highly recommend it!
All new to me. Very interested in that David Nicholls book!
I really loved A Tale for the Time Being. It was one of my favorite books read this year. Us is also very good.
How to be a Heroine looks interesting. Love the cover. I look forward to your thoughts. May have to add to my wishlist.
A Tale for the Time Being is one of my favorite books this year. I still think about it six months after finishing it.
