I’ve never heard of ‘pocket’ doors, what a lovely expression! This is a very appealing corner. a cosy chair and loads of books from which to choose. Better still when there is a fire in the grate. Not totally convinced by the painting on the chimney breast, but can’t see it clearly enough to pronounce on that.
