Oh I do like this one! and with that ladder, I could even cope with the high shelves. The couch & chair look comfortable. At first I thought those were painted panels, which I thought oddly interesting!
I don’t know how I’d cope with the ladder … yes, I do: I wouldn’t cope with it. But that doesn’t prevent me liking this arrangement, which is totally functional and function over style usually wins the day. I’m not totally convinced regarding those brightly lit ornament shelves, but they might look better in reality rather than on a photograph. They have something similar in a shoe shop that I sometimes go in. The shoes are back lit and you simply can’t see them properly because of the bright light. From what little we see of the sofa, it looks a comfortable and supportive piece of furniture.

I’ve always wished I had a library big enough to need a rolling ladder!
Love the ladder – don’t know that I’ll ever be able to sacrifice shelf space for art, but it does have a nice ambience.
Gorgeous space but not for me as I have been known to fall UP stairs. I fear I would fall backwards clutching a favorite heavy tome and break my neck.

So purty. I’ve always wanted a rolling ladder but it is just as well I don’t have one since it is fairly certain I would fall off of it sometime.
In another life perhaps….le sigh and to think this is now undesired in in new home shoppers.
