Very stylish, but I like more traditional looking shelving.
Stylish, light and bright … so far, so good. Not sure about those green cupboards/desk, though … It certainly looks like a child’s playroom to me, I’d need more comfortable chairs.
It’s beautifully light & bright, but it makes me think of a waiting room. I agree, it needs some comfortable chairs.
Could not do the green unless it were a dedicated children’s space. I was trying to determine if the figures up on the shelf near the top right were literary people, or representative of the family? I do love the bright white shelves, would just need to do something about the green, and as others have said, add some comfortable seating.
I had the exact same thought as Lisa. I’m wondering where the fish tank is and can hear the dentist’s drill.
This much space for my books would be a dream come true. I’m still renting so have to make do with one measly bookshelf, but better than none, right?!
I love how colourfull it is by the way. At the moment my reading room is a vision in beige, but I quite like a little colour to engage the eye.
Cheers, June 🙂
I love the white, but there is something off about the room – not the right sort furniture, I think.
Since I believe I see a lot of CDs, I have to assume the bilious green cabinets hide more sound equipment, though there appears to be a turntable out VERY few records. I must say I’m not a fan of the white shelves, dislike the green cabinets, would find the chairs quite uncomfortable. No lighting except for the can lights. This space is not for me!
