Yesterday morning, it was pouring rain. By the afternoon, with the help of a swift breeze, all that was coming down from the clear blue skies were cherry tree blossoms. I love April.
Lovely pics! We don’t have any around our place. Washington DC must be beautiful right now! If you love cherry blossom you must go there when they are in bloom! Spectacular!
Beautiful pictures! Very jealous of your sunny weather… I did see some half-hearted blossom yesterday, but it’s rather mournful.
I have to live vicariously, Claire. We are under a winter storm watch and buses have been cancelled from regions all around us due to freezing rain. The walk with Deacon this morning should be lots of fun…not!
Gorgeous pictures, thank you! We’re finally getting some much-needed rain, which will take us out of the “severe drought” category at least for a while.
Wonderful blossoms, Claire. But for a moment, I had mentally confused your blog with Darlene’s (which I read back to back, along with Simon, Elaine, DGR and Yarn Harlot every morning with coffee). All I could think was Hey! She’s just pulling our legs.
See the real Darlene, above. Yes, all forms of winter precipitation threatening or already falling in southern Ontario today. April is indeed the cruellest month, in between the shoures soote (to quote those two bookends of English Poetry 101)
How pretty! I’ve never seen cherry blossoms in person, but hopefully one day!
Beautiful! Thank you for posting these. 🙂
Oh my, they take my breath away, especially since we, too, are under a winter storm watch. Enjoy!
Beautiful! Our pear tree blossomed last month and the sight was glorious!
WOW! lovely pictures!
Beautiful! It’s been snowing here since yesterday 😦
These photos are stunning! I love spring time blossoms.
P.S. Thank you for all the wonderful film recommendations. I can’t wait to check them out! 🙂
