If I were a thousand times cooler and trendier than I actually am, this is where I would live. But maybe minus the electric blue coffee table…
The mushroom would have to go as well but the rest I absolutely love.
The mushroom like pepper, the table like salt – apparently a little bit too much…!
As well as the electric blue coffee table and the mushroom, those large globular lights would have to go, too! My problem is that it actually looks very cold in there. I love a bit of comfort and that means warmth.
I would take out *all* the furniture, except for one soft thing to sit on – is that a leather couch I see at the far end? – and would remove the shades from the lights, and voila! – awesome dance space. My daughter could jete and chassee up & down at will, and I could look up from my book to harass her occasionally. Might have to change the floor to hardwood or lay down a Marley floor. Of course in fantasy-land money’s no object, lol – totally dreamy, this space, love the windows and the high ceiling.
Seriously though, I would change out the lamp shades – I see handmade Tiffany style stained glass ones in my imagination, and goodbye mushroom. The table stays – awesome colour! Some big soft overstuffed armchairs would be added, too. 🙂
Hmmm. Wonderful space, but not cosy. In fact, it’s kind of like an Ikea showroom, with room after room on display (although they put walls in between them at Ikea.
Interesting (perhaps) how at the far end of the showroom they’ve arranged all the pictures among the shelves.
Do you think the toadstool is there because the owner is a Brown Owl, and holds the weekly Brownie meetings there? Certainly there’s the space for a fairy ring.
I think the mushroom cushion/stool is cute. But the designer should have left more space for books!
It’s the hard marble floor that kills it for me. And, I’m not cool enough to be this whimsical, etiher. But I give them high points for the rolling ladder. 🙂
Marvelous! There is a lot of space to add more shelves if needed. You have lots of seating choices. The electric blue table makes it for me. I love the big globe lights but would want some lamps as well. The large table at the end of the room is nice. Is that a kitchen to the right? This room seems to have it all!
I could totally live there too even with that coffee table. I love the mushroom!
