I love to feature paintings rather than photographs every so often in “Library Lust”. This lovely pink and blue corner looks so comfortable and relaxed. If I walked in to someone’s home and saw this room, I would immediately want to be friends with them.
I would too! Not only because of the books, but especially because…do you see the needlepoint pillow (the wreath of roses) on the chair? I’ve stitched that one! I love seeing it there.
I would definitely want to browse those shelves!
Not only do I love the corner of this room in this very appealing painting, but I lvoe paintings of interiors.
Lovely!
What a restful room. Don’t you know that there are books in that bag between the chairs or at least there have been recently!
I would feel very at home here (especially with the gift bag full of surprises on the floor 😉 ).
Oh – built-ins! I love them even they are pink. 😉
Love the colours. The bag looks quite contemporary compared to the rest of the room.
Love the blue. It is so peaceful looking I’d probably fall asleep once I opened a book.
I love the blue window frame, but I would move the stool. (I would probably trip over it!)
I want to move into that room! I’m pretty sure this image will now figure prominently into the imaginary rooms and houses that I am always creating.
Isn’t that pretty, I could absolutely fall in love with that room!
