As close to perfect as I think you can get. I might swap out the curtains but that would be the only change.

…and the striped chair wishes it had an ottoman. đ
I agree, this is pretty close to perfect. I love the low bookshelves with room for objets on the top (we have a row of shelves like this cross our dining room, so that there is space for things on top. And this allows space for pictures, too. Books, paintings, ornaments, comfy chairs, a rug underfoot, good light, what’s not to like?
A footstool & a fireplace. And a sidetable for snacks/drinks. Otherwise it looks pretty darned good! You’re right about the curtains – they look suspiciously flowery. đ
Dreaming on …
Oh this is excellent. I can’t understand why my room full of books looks all higgledy-piggledy and this looks perfect. Hmmm. Paint the shelves white. Put a nice rug on the floor. Clear out the junk….
Love the red and white chair, but yes, the curtains would have to go. This is a keeper! đ
Gorgeous! I could easily spend a lot of time here!
Once again, an exciting library to lust after. I love these postings and how they inspire. Thank you for each and every one of them, Claire.
