Built-in shelving – especially in white – makes me so very happy. The rest of the room doesn’t excite me, but I do love the autumnal-coloured throw on the end of that very ugly (though no doubt comfortable) chair.

Built-in shelving – especially in white – makes me so very happy. The rest of the room doesn’t excite me, but I do love the autumnal-coloured throw on the end of that very ugly (though no doubt comfortable) chair.
I’ve been contemplating moving my library table to a different window in my little den/library, Claire. This actually gives me a bit of an idea of how that might work. The chair does does nothing for me either, but, that throw . . .
I wonder if it’s a chair with an ottoman, or more of a chaise. It’s definitely wide enough to curl up in with a book off the shelves – which look lovely, full of real books.
“…endless games of patience….”
I’m pretty sure that’s taken straight out of Envious Casca. The dullest of dull aunts, Maud, played endless games of patience in between reading chatty royal biographies.
sorry, wrong post. Supposed to go with Heyer….
