Here’s another cottage-y reading corner (like last week’s) for us to dream of escaping to. Can you tell I really wish I were somewhere other than the city this summer?
Oh, that I really like! Expecially the cuddly toys on the lounger (I don’t have any cuddly toys on chairs or beds, but these looks so right here!) which is covered so simply either a candlewick bedspread (so 1950s!) or simply towelling. I wonder whether the old sewing machine is ever pressed into service? And it looks to me that the globe is actually a table lamp, as there’s an electrical cable leading to it. Books on substantial shelves, and magazines, too. What a super use of space, and so light and bright. Yes, I owuld be very happy here!
I love this too — a reading corner is a heavenly idea.
Isn’t that a unique use of a corner? I could easily get lost in this little nook. It makes me wonder at an adaptation as in a dorm room/first apartment sort of space.
Love it. I, too, would rather be somewhere other than the city right now. A beach cottage sounds heavenly. Nothing to do but read and play in the ocean…ah, yes, I could be there.
I like this little corner. I’ve got to share a sad photo I ran across yesterday, a photo which made me think of you and your lovely “library lust” pictures:

Bliss!
Love the comfy looking lounge with such a soft cover on itl Lots of light, must have lots of light. Bonnie’s photo of abandoned library is truly heart breaking. How could anyone do that? Love the Library Lust posts. Always look forward to them. Pam
