Doesn’t this room feel lived in? Broken down into its individual parts, there are so many things I don’t like but, all jumbled together, they give the sense of a comfortable room that people aren’t afraid to use. The shelves looked like they’re crammed with all sorts of books and there’s nothing I love more than entering the library of a reader with ecclectic tastes.

Oh yes, those look like real, and read books. The big overstuffed chair in the foreground looks like it would be very comfortable to curl up in.

I like that one a lot! I especially like how the wall behind the books has been painted. I’ve been thinking of doing that with my bookcases because it always looks so nice.
Oh my! Books over the doorway, rolling ladder, fireplace, comfortable couch. Yes, I could live in this one. It even looks as badly cluttered as my house usually is. 😉 Don’t think I would let the guitar stay in there, but this is another keeper.
One thing I definitely want when I have a library in my house is a rolling ladder.. LOVE IT.
We almost did a rolling ladder for our bookshelves, then, had second thoughts when I fell down a short flight of stairs. tee hee
I like this one, Claire, and don’t mind a bit of clutter where books are concerned. This one looks loved and lived in with the guitar, the sweater or coat on the door hook, and oh-so-many books.
That’s the one that I want!!! Gimme, gimme, gimme … love it!
